XtremeMac Tango TRX 2.1 Wireless is a small Speaker with iPod capabilities and it satisfies in most respects. It can be used with devices that have Bluetooth connectivity, like a Smartphone, or with iPods or MP3 players, for a full sound experience.

I have a Smartphone and while I don't use it for listening purposes very frequently, I still access it on occasion and the XtremeMac Tango has proven itself an effective means to better sound. Hooking up the Bluetooth to the XtremeMac is about as simple as it can be and in very little time, you can be listening to your favourite tunes with better sound than you would normally experience.

XtremeMac Tango has many positive qualities and the first is the one you notice when you open the box. This device is compact and has a slick, modern, high- tech appearance. It looks sharp on your desktop or most anyplace else. And it is compact enough to setup just about anyplace. Just move a few books aside and you should have no problem setting up your XtremeMac Tango. The remote control is nice, too. It offers volume control, pause, skip, and other functions with the press of a button.

Most qualities of the XtremeMac Tango are positive, but one that will concern some is the quality of the sound. I consider it acceptable and it is certainly much better than listening to music straight from my Smartphone. But I know that those who demand near- perfect sound will find XtremeMac Tango inferior to other, more sophisticated devices. This appears to be a common concern, judging by other reviews, and I must agree that the sound is less than perfect, even though certainly better than the sound you get when you utilize the built- in speaker on your Smartphone.

Having a quick, simple way to listen to music from a phone, Ipod, or MP3 is a nice convenience and the XtremeMac Tango TRX 2.1 offers exactly that. The unit is sharp in appearance and the device can be hooked up and ready to use in minutes. There are better devices out there for optimal sound quality, but they cost much more and when all factors are considered, the XtremeMac Tango ranks as a good speaker system overall.
