This product come in without any instruction. I connected my iPad (running on ios 5)to my TV and it doesn't work. After I Google for solution, it finally work and the picture quality is great. Here is how I made it to work.
First, connect the cable to TV and plug it into my iPad (this is important step, without this step the TV out option won't be shown on next step). Next, go to iPad Settings > General > TV Out > Widescreen and set it on (set TV signal to NTSC if necessary). That's it.
I further found out that if I unplug the cable then next time I need to go through the setup cycle again even if it shows the same setting but I still need to "off" and then "on" the "widescreen" option or select "NTSC" again to make it work.
